Day 6: Awards Ceremony

The International Case Competition @ Maastricht has come to an end. All the participants, the judges, the organizing committee and the volunteers gathered at the museum aan het Vrijthof to participate at the closing ceremony. Before giving away the awards we had the opportunity to enjoy a delicious dinner. It is finally the time to announce the results of this year’s competition… which the four finalists were eagerly waiting for. The ranking for ICC@M 2016 is as follow:

First place: Case by the Ocean – The University of North Carolina, and one team member Craig Amasya won the best presenter awards! Well done Craig!

Second place: Peak associates – National University of Singapore

Third place: Magnus Consulting Group – University of St. Gallen

Fourth place: Forté – Simon Fraser University

A special award, the Spirit Cup, was allocated to HEC Montréal! Last but not least, Janos Berghorn won the volunteer award for his incredible dedication to this week’s organization. We would also like to thank all the volunteers for the great work, without you guys we couldn’t have done ICC@M 2016!

Congratulations to all the teams who participated in ICC@M 2016 but more specifically to Case by the Ocean for winning this year’s event!

It is now time to celebrate the end of the week at café de Beurs. The participants, their advisors and all the volunteers were invited to enjoy a nice party. We have to admit that it was a great success! We had such a good time and there is no better way to end this incredible week.

We wish a safe trip home to all the teams and hope to see you again in Maastricht or on the other side of the world.

We are already looking forward to ICC@M 2017!
